To explore the world and embrace its dangers, to peer beyond barriers, draw closer, connect with one another, and truly feel—this is the essence of life. Through travel you witness the remarkable capacity of human imagination and technical skill, illustrating how civilizations have left their mark on our world through architecture and customs. Ancient architecture embodies beauty and reflects a profound harmony with nature, as many civilizations crafted their structures in alignment with natural elements and the universe. Engaging with an indigenous culture, whether through photography or simply spending time, is by neccessity an imposition requiring a deep cultural sensitivity. Indigenous people are deeply connected to their environment, which often serves as the source of their food, crafts, and livelihoods. Photographs tell compelling stories through light instead of words. Capturing an image speaks to the challenge of considering both what you include and what you exclude. I strive to think conceptually, focusing on deeper meanings rather than mere aesthetics.
